The Lauderhill Fire Rescue Explorer Post
441 is a career development program, aimed at the Fire Rescue service.
Sponsored by the Lauderhill Fire Rescue Department, the Post is
comprised of young men and women between 13 and 20 years old who
assist the Fire Department in community service.
The Fire Explorer program allows students to gain a better
understanding of the Fire Rescue Service and its career opportunities
and provides valuable support to the Lauderhill Fire Rescue
Department.
Fire Explorers complete a training
program to learn about the Lauderhill Fire Rescue Department and to
prepare themselves for a career in the Fire Rescue Service. Weekly
meetings attended by the Explorers provide them with instruction in
areas such as First Aid, CPR, Firefighting Tactics, Vehicle
Extrication, Fire Safety and Training for Competitions.
