NBC 6 STUDIOS MIRAMAR, FL TUESDAY  AUGUST 12, 2008

The Lauderhill Fire Rescue Explorers had a wonderful opportunity to experience live broadcast television in the making.  On Tuesday, August 12, 2008 the Lauderhill Fire Explorers were given a tour of the NBC 6 Studios in Miramar, Florida.  During the tour they were able to witness the live broadcast of the 7 o'clock news and saw the different aspects of what is required to put on the news.  Members of the NBC 6 team took time out of their very busy schedules to provide the tour and answer questions.  Assignment Editor Berti Ruiz was instrumental in providing the Explorers with this fantastic opportunity.  After the broadcast of the 7 o'clock news, Anchor/Reporter, DeMarco Morgan explained to the Explorers what his job entails and showed them around the set.
